Tin Man Brewing Co. helped revive Evansville's love of craft brewing when they opened their doors to the public in 2012. While their eclectic 'alloy' of beer, food, and conversation were welcomed with open arms by the community, it wasn't the first time this building, the former "Franklin Street House" (c. 1869) had been used as a watering hole.

Shortly after the House's construction, the bottom floor was converted into a local saloon in the 1880's; and according to Tin Man Brewing Co. president and co-owner Nick Davidson, one goal of their restaurant-style 'Tasting Room' is to bring back the feel of that tavern-style experience.
